Consider Honor with Books — a meaningful and enduring way to celebrate a graduate's journey. As your student prepares to graduate from UC San Diego, commemorate their achievement in a meaningful and enduring way through Honor with Books at the UC San Diego Library. Honor with Books is a unique way to celebrate their achievement or pay tribute to family, a faculty member or mentor who helped along the way. With a minimum gift of $100, a book will be selected from the UC San Diego Library collection in their honor — complete with a digital bookplate and a searchable note in UC Library Search in a subject area of your choice (arts, biomedicine, humanities, music, science and engineering, or social sciences). Your gift supports the library's essential acquisitions efforts and provides a way to celebrate your honoree's achievement — seen by every student, scholar, and researcher who discovers that book in the years to come. Each Honor with Books gift is recognized with a letter of acknowledgement to the donor and to the recipient, and will make you both Library Associates for a year. Additionally, the link to the searchable record will also be sent to you and the honoree, or designated recipient' once available.
