Open Access Outreach and Adoption 2024

The Library will create an outreach and information campaign regarding Open Access (OA) publishing on our campus. The project team will deliver access to accurate information about OA publishing with the goal of increasing author engagement with the “read and publish” agreements negotiated by UC San Diego and UC Libraries. This campaign will emphasize the importance of OA publishing, be compliant with evolving funder requirements for public access, and align with UC San Diego’s mission to UC “transform California and a diverse global society by educating, generating and disseminating knowledge and creative work.”
